99 Public Welfare Day, join 3TREES in doing good deeds

The 99 Public Welfare Day, lasting from September 7 to September 9 each year, is a public welfare event jointly launched by Tencent Public Welfare and tens of thousands of public welfare and charity organizations across China. 3TREES has participated in the Tencent 99 Public Welfare Day for seven consecutive years, inviting everyone to do good deeds with their little red flowers. Taking environmental protection and ecological balance as its mission, 3TREES has planted 2.55 million saxaul trees in the key ecological conservation zone of the Alxa region. In April this year, we completed the plantation of 8,000 trees, or approximately 162 mu, in the area surrounding the Niba Mountain Giant Panda Corridor in the Yingjing section of the Giant Panda National Park to help restore the eco-environment of the giant panda habitat and promote the healthy development of the forest ecosystem in the area.

During this year’s 99 Public Welfare Day, the 3TREES headquarters, regional centers and factories made the best effort to create an atmosphere of public welfare by all, and invited all employees to participate in the “Donate Together” fundraising campaign through interactive means. The 3TREES associates have expressed their love and support for the cause of public welfare with their donations, and decorated their WeChat Moments with little red flowers, a symbol of love and responsibility.

At the same time, 3TREES also launched the “Walk Together” footstep donation campaign, calling on employees to make low-carbon virtual “hikes” of the giant panda habitat in Daxiangling. By matching every step donated by the employees with actual financial contribution, 3TREES is protecting the home of giant pandas and supporting the Endangered Species Protection project with love, and reaffirming its commitment to public charity with every small step.

Respect nature and care for your compatriots, and be full of vigor and vitality. 3TREES will always stand on your side to do good deeds for the society. Although this year’s 99 Public Welfare Day is concluded, the journey of love has not come to an end. On the road of fulfilling its social responsibility, 3TREES will build on its brand advantages, and leverage its corporate platform and public welfare influence to explore more diverse ways of public welfare participation, and turn public welfare into a way of life and a natural habit of employees.
