On February 8, after pocketing the gold medal of freestyle skiing women's big jump in the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022, Gu Ailing said that she feels heart-warming to come back and compete in her hometown. At the same time, the four 70-meter-high "big chimneys" behind the Big Air also attracted people's attention.

Affectionately known as the "big chimneys", the cooling towers were once the landmark of the Shougang Steel Plant. After Shougang was transformed into an industrial site park, little progress has been made in the paintings on the exterior wall of the cooling towers. Finally, to practice the concept of sustainability and conservation in running the Olympic Games, the owner of the facility decided to choose the most streamlined way, painting a huge Winter Olympics logo, 16.5 meters high and 13.3 meters wide, on the surface of the cooling towers, which raises the atmosphere of the whole venue without destroying the effect of the Shougang industrial site.

Since the project started close to the opening day of the Olympic Winter Games, 3TREES voluntarily signed up for the painting project. 3TREES completed the work within the scheduled time period by providing high-quality elastic paint for exterior wall.
